It's a bug in the Trackleader website. Bit technical but when there's no elevation chart the zoom buttons on the map don't work.
works: http://trackleaders.com/transam17
doesn't work: http://trackleaders.com/tour14er17So it's not you, it's them :)
(And if you want to get really technical, you could fix it with uBlock by adding this as a filter: trackleaders.com###elecontrols )

Looks like Lenhard has about a 4 hour lead on Skinny, but has slept for 6 hours less

Dan massie hit the highest point in the race? 2509m on the Timmelsjoch
-
• #1280
Yes, odd one with Ian To. Tracker didn't register for the last day all the way through the mountains.
-
• #1282
Strong choice. Trimmelsjoch is a bit of a beast.

camillejmcmillan and jprobertson are taking some lovely pictures of the race.

Anybody remember how much Kristof Allegaert slept last year; wasn't it as little as Björn Lenhard?
-
• #1286
Kristof was consistently 4 hours every night starting at 1-3amish
-
• #1287
Which is roughly what Björn is doing now?
-
• #1288
And he's warmed up nicely by winning in Ireland like this.

How do you do it on a laptop without a wheelie mouse then?
Try double tap but on the second tap keep your finger on the pad, then drag up or down. Worth a shot - it works on some devices/maps (not working on this mac).

I hadn't checked yet but I heard that on the first night (as in the night he got to CP1) he only slept for an hour.
-
• #1291
Looking at Bjorn's TAW stats he seemed to go out pretty hard from the off and then settle into a more regular sleep pattern.
-
• #1292
Sleep patterns of the top 5... Bjorn definitely sleeping less than the others.
Hopefully Ian To sorted out any tracker issues at CP2

I'd take away at least 25% from those times for actual sleep
-
• #1294
It's interesting how far Ian To has managed to get considering his average speed (when his tracker was working) is showing as ~30% less than James et al...
-
• #1295
I'm not sure if that is the case. It's a bit hard to tell with those graphs as Ian To's is on a different scale to the others. Don't think the difference is that much though.
-
• #1296
Didn't spot the scale difference - Sorry Ian.

I wonder if skinny is taking a different route to Bjorn to CP3? He seems to be going further south into Italy as opposed to heading to the Gemano/Bordano pass.
-
• #1298
Crazy what Bjorn is doing on such little sleep.
-
• #1299
Yes, he's veered off a bit.

I assume he wants to cut out the mountainous bits of Austria by going through Hungary.
Hippy in Jacomo ...
