Yeah I decided that it was too cheap in the end. It is much more worth for me to keep it as my back-up cross bike.
I am working on brazing a steel disc cx frame with gears. But even if I throw all my money at that I am not going to be getting it as light weight asthe Tricross. Plus riding single speed + rim brakes is as trouble free as muddy cross can get. And I feel like I get to do far more races during a season if I have to spend less time cleaning and fixing shit.
