Lots of the main roads are no bikes, so it makes route planning a bit more tricky and that flat corner of Ukraine is a bit more direct, no? But you could lose that time with border crossings

Considering both how flat and westernised Hungary is I can't see why you would want to avoid it?
Lots of road are banned to cyclists so hard to plan a route
