Sensible tactics. Whenever he stops he will be tired enough to sleep. May as well do it early when the storm comes, then early start and ride when it's over.

Especially as it's a proper storm, none of the uk style "2 rumbles and nowt else" thunder.

That's in Honau, though, a long way north of where skinny and Geoffroy are.

Dalgas and Goy have overtaken them and kept on riding through whatever is happening there.

It may just have been part of skinny's planned rest stop pattern?
