With the demise of Poundland Agfa
Seriously...?
I've not seen any for months, but I know it comes and goes....... This is serious - £landvista was part of the justification for getting back into film -

Are you based in NL? If so Hema often have their own brand film in stock - 3x36 200iso colour film for cheapish.

Yup, gone sadly. Some people where reporting their Poundlands had left over stock, but it seems as though that has been bought up by eBay resellers (selling for £3 a roll on eBay)

@nefarious Nope, I'm in London but I've used Hema film in the past and been pretty happy with it.
@Ste_S Can't bring myself to fund the ebay carpet-baggers so I'm going to switch to ColourPlus 200. When you send film to snaps for processing they do it for £1.66 /36roll iso200 -

and they sell and process 620! amazing.

Cool, that's worth knowing.
Colorplus has a look. 70s browns. Good choice for golden hour shooting.

Yes, I remember the colours from the 90's (it was my 2nd choice after the gratis Jessop stock which was made by ferrania iirc). I'll be getting my first roll back very soon so watch this space.

As much as the pound land film was ok, I'd rather spend real money on nice film now. Plus at only 24 exposures it was costing the same to get developed as 36 and I'd rather that!

Anybody want these? Been sat on my desk for about 4 years. Don't know what fitting they're on. Stick £5 into the forum and I'll post them out.

Love it, always good to see people in the fells wearing a shirt and flat cap as opposed to the latest dyneema/kevlar/cordura blended triple layer hardshell!

Those are all really lovely

Great stuff, man. Liking the formal climbing attire :)

This.
I've always assumed it to be a combination of fear, marketing hype and a misconception that we're somehow at war with nature...@nefarious - Great shots

Should be in the climbing thread so I'll stop after this but if you've got 30 mins this is what I imagine climbing was like before the marketeers got involved: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-m_P_RzrQu4

I went a bit off brief with the "traditional mountaineering clothing".
Climbing with a laptop shoulder bag - can't say I recommend it!

Something a bit different....
I took some pictures when out in LA and being a screenprinter by profession I thought it would be a good opportunity to learn some mad CMYK printing skills.
Got the 35mm developed and then used the digital scan to make the following:
Cyan-
Magenta -
Yellow-
Key-
And then a stylised background-
Colour balance is slightly off from the cyan and the black has to much information, but seems to work as a first attempt. Think I might do a few more from the shots I got.

This is really cool!
Thanks for that -they've got a great range of film at good prices.
I've been using Fuji Superia 400 lately, and they seem to do 3x 3 for £4.88 per roll shipped from Germany. About £3 cheaper per roll than here in the UK
