Be very gentle when popping that button, not sure about Seiko movements but on some movements its possible to basically completely disassemble your keyless works if you push it too far in. It is recoverable but it was the bane of my life when learning to service movements.
Just tug on the crown whilst increasing pressure on that button.
You might be able to remove the crown from the stem to fit to a new one if you use a pin vice...
