  • Alienation has taken an obscene amount of my gaming time lately. Really need to sack it off and fire up Dark Souls 3 again.
NG+4, then new build for DLC.

  • Good work dude.

I think the issue I had was that you can only do two of the ten training missions while downloading; so I did those and once it completed I just jumped online with no idea how to land the pigging thing. Now I've done that training mission it's much easier.

Still not quite sure what 'step one' should be - I don't seem to be able to make multiple jumps so the missions are out, and I'm not sure where I can start mining. ANyway I'm sure I'll work it out. I love the atmosphere of it.

  • I actually thought, based on the ship's maximum jump range, that that was it. I remember it was like that in the C=64 game. But no, I realized you can make several jumps before running out of (space) fuel.

You want to get technical, you can play around with this thing:
    Coriolis EDCD

(Has my Cobras specs, that one.)

But you can punch in the things you have planned to see how it will affect the ship. And how much it'll cost in the end.

EDIT: I started by doing those "boom delivery" missions. Just checked the map to see the delivery point was within reach. Nowadays I do exploration.

  • Doom just shat a 60gb update onto my xbox, I had to delete another AA rated game to make space. Well played Doom. #therecanbeonlyone

It's because they've made all the previous DLC free forever (retiring the season pass that was available before)

Might have to reinstall and play this weekend

  • hitman absolution.

    i like dis gaems.

    N64 Mini incoming.

This is getting a tad ridiculous.

  • Just bought Doom, only £10 on steam. I enjoyed the demo

  • Splatoon 2 anyone?

  • Let it Die, from Grasshopper is crazy. Free on PS4

It's a little Souls like, just a little

  • I ended up playing hyper aggressive against the big mutant and killed it without getting hit. Had gone back because I saw I could pick up the kalash 2012 in the previous two levels, which saved me from buying it, but still found the boss to be a pain until that point

  • Had a crack at the destiny 2 beta, as someone who doesn't really pvp i swerved that stuff and the intro story mission was alright and the one available strike was entertaining but there was only about 30-40 minutes gameplay tops and out of 3 strikes I got the same loot 2/3 times with the same rolls so didn't get a chance to test more than the basics out.

Am sure it'll be a fun distraction for a few weeks when it comes out but felt like the beta was way too narrow to be worth the effort of installing. although I did read the previous beta for destiny was way too much content and ruined the game at launch for the demo playtesters so i guess it's a fine balance.

  • Guns are now fixed rolls so no more grinding for the perfect roll.

PvP is pretty fun now also, as a PvE primary player.

They were definitely intentionally light on the content this time round after the Destiny 1 beta, but also this wasn't meant as a demo, it was a server/netcode stress test for them

  • Enjoying Splatoon 2 too much. Addicted.

Someone with Switch buy it and let's play together.

    Plz

  • It's on my list... pay day tomorrow so...

  • Shit I keep forgetting I get access to all the Activision beta weekends. I missed the CoD WW2 the other week, too.

Instead I spent most of the weekend playing the unweildily named Playerunknown's Battlegrounds.

Is anyone else playing Playerunknown's Battlegrounds? It's really fucking hard and I suck.

  • Playerunknown's Battlegrounds

Eurogamer won't stop banging on about it and it's making me think about picking it up but I barely get to play the games i already have, let alone a new one.

  • yeah it's really popular on twitch and that too. Mostly because it's buggy as fuck so lots of weird stuff happens.

  • @soul I resisted for ages, but a friend bought it for me. It's really good fun (esp. in Quads). I play most days now, tend to get killed a lot but still worth the $30

  • Looks like DayZ without the boring bits. Would pick it up but I imagine it needs relatively beefy specs to run in a decent manner.

  • Quads seems like the most fun but I don't really have a good group of pc friends to play with. Maybe when it's out in xbox...

  • I haven't checked but I don't think so, it's not exactly Crysis.
