Good point, sadly the 46 first wave is about 9am so I'd be pushing through a lot of slower riders, whereas the 46 joins up with some decently paced 100milers on their return leg.
I have another 100mi sportive later this year so might just do the 46 for what it is. If it's raining I definitely don't fancy entering surrey for he inevitable road closures.
If you're on the 46 it'll be almost impossible to do the 100. The loop is closed off and any riders not at that point before then will be directed on the 46 route.
Ah last year I made it to the cut off with ample time I'm sure as everybody disappeared, Persuasive arguement against would be the sheer number of people I'd need to overtake, no fun there.. will just have to aim for improving last years ranking
