I had a good experience with simonaholt.co.uk for bicycle related injury claim, although that was a number of years ago.
Sounds like a horrible experience, glad it sounds like you're not too badly injured.
Would it be worth trying to find out if there were passengers in the taxi at that time? Might be another source of witnesses
