If you are trying to save cash, you could buy standard Record brakes then purchase the "blue gems" on eBay.
This guy sells them:

C Record brakes are Deltas. The Cobaltos were provided as some riders didn't like the Deltas (although I find they brake very well)
If you want Cobalto look with the "blue gems" you will need Super Record callipers (script "Campagnolo" not block) and wipe some blue paint into the script. -

Also the front nut would need replacing. If you're not looking to break the bank better look for "normal" Super Record or Dura-Ace of that era.

They weren't provided as a choice. They were introduced cause there were problems with the first gen. Delta's. They are still considered part of the C-Record group.

I'm well aware that Cobaltos are considered C-Record, And of course they were provided as a choice - no one was forced to use Cobaltos some riders used Deltas some used Cobaltos.

I'm saying they weren't introduced to give people a choice. They were introduced cause Delta's got pulled from production.
Looking for parts or the whole groupset trying not to break the bank 🏦
