I plan to, was just cming here to see if you'd had any success using a sacrificial front mech, I think ive got one that's conveniently seized up so presuming I can move it enough to put it in the outer chainring position it should work treat, if not i'll eed to find something to keep it pushed outwards...
my mechanical last week was not doing my rear tight enough and pulling it in the dropout, causing my rear wheel to slightly rub for the run from the roundabout to the finish, it wasn't enough to feel in the heat of the moment but I couldn't understand why I was 100m from my minute man at the roundabout and was still 100m from him 3 miles later, once I slowed after finish it was immediately noticeable!
It's a cracking course, so sure you'll do it, and based on previous Septembers it should be super fast weather conditions.
Keeping my fingers crossed the weather forecast improves for this Wednesday, if I can avoid a mechanical then I at least have a chance!
