Bike ready, although guards to come off and new tires, chain & cassette to go on. My TT bag likes to slant off to the right which I need to fix but otherwise very happy.
Ready for the road. My home for 2 weeks from Friday onwards.

you got a water bladder?
That pump! Serious.
I'd get on of those bottle droppers and get a sis 1L bottle. Why not...
-
• #705
Yeah, hopefully I won't need it but I don't intend to be fucking around with a minipump if I don't have to.
No bladder. I will probably get a side loading cage and a 1l bottle - no need for the dropper then.

Do that, more fluid the better.

Looks a nice set up. What's in the bottle / can under the downtube?
-

It's a fabric cageless tool keg. Will be using it store tools, spare cables, various shit. Toying with swapping it out for an actual cage though as it'd be nice to have capacity for extra water if I feel that I need it. Can always ram that other stuff in a pocket if need be.

Promoted to front page, links added to first post.
Note: The dotwatcher link isn't yet active but I believe that is what the URL will be. If I'm wrong, please let me know.

Thanks for the offer. Just got mate to Prime me one of those Bone Crusher things.
I would prefer to use my Sony since I have the mounts for it already but it's not back from repair yet.

I was going to build a custom ratio cassette for this but ran out of time to order what I needed. Maybe something for next year though. Think I'll ditch the 11, 12, 13 ish and keep the 32T end. There's also the option to run a 36T SRAM with Wolflink like the Wack Attack.

Mine got new cassette, chain and tyres this weekend. Also a clean and now has the framebag fitted back on.
Why didn't you get a dropper mount for that bottle? 1L bidons ftw
I hope that pink light was cheap..
-
• #713
Side-loading cage doesn't lower the bottle though. You still need dropper.
Do you want to borrow mine? I have a dropper adapter and Lezyne side loaders.

Think I can fit a 900ml bottle in there with a sideloading cage. Will test this evening.
edit: that's a kind offer - I'm in Glasgow so you'd have to bring them to g'bergen?
-

What fork is that?
I can bring to Gberg, I'm staying in Ninove nearby Thursday night so you won't get much testing time.

Niner gravel fork, painted by Euan at Shand.
Lemme see how I get on fiddling today and tomorrow and I'll let you know - I'm assuming you're leaving London on Thursday?

You can get half bidons that have a screw cap that are designed to hold tools, etc.
Or just do what my old LBS buddy did and cut two bidons in half and stick one end in the other creating a sealed tool thing.

I have a spare stainless steel cage that I'm hoping I can bend a little to accept the keg I already have. Desperately trying not to buy any more shit as all these little purchases really add up. Just bought a head torch (Black Diamond Spot 200) and mosquito net. Aside from fresh inner tubes and some blue Loctite, I'm hoping I don't need to buy any more shit.

If I bought the right brake pads and my phones didn't all fall apart I wouldn't have needed to buy anything. Alas...
-
• #722
For the TT bike sure, but I don't need corn cob for this pub crawl.
-
• #723
I have some spare 805's if you need.
Yeah be at mine to leave here at 12:00 midday. Train check in closes at 2:20 and who knows what teh m25 will be like.
