Good point, sadly the 46 first wave is about 9am so I'd be pushing through a lot of slower riders, whereas the 46 joins up with some decently paced 100milers on their return leg.
I have another 100mi sportive later this year so might just do the 46 for what it is. If it's raining I definitely don't fancy entering surrey for he inevitable road closures.
So I'm booked in to do the 46 as I waited for its ballot results before going for a charity spot at which time there were no 100mi spots left.
I remember where the courses split off last year, what's to stop me from just completing the 100mi feigning ignorance? Would my timing chip just put me down as a DNF ?
