As you know, I'm not the biggest fan of colnago. Very jealous of this frame though.

Just finished my partner's little Carlton Franco Suisse (1962ish).
Although it is 120 OLD rear spacing I managed to set it up 1x10 (44T x 11-32T).
Wheels are 105 5800 laced to Mavic A719 with Specialized Roubaix Pro 30c.
Rack is homebrew and the Wald basket makes shopping a breeze. -

Looking great, get a bungy net from sjs, so handy for baskets.
Mudguards in the winter?

Came home after 5 months abroad. I couldn't wait to build the 'dale, threw on stuff i had lying around. The set up isn't definitive. Will probably relace these araya on d-a hubs and also started to lace a new wheelset with d-a hubs and grey ano rigida rims.
Also pictured my brother's wip which used to belong to @hacha.
Finally the mash work in its current guise. -

Lovely mate!
What's the boss/fixing on the stays above brake bridge? Did it used to have canti/centrepulls?
-
• #115646
Thanks. Yeah I guess it did.
I picked it up from an old guy as a frameset only.
It has a been a bit of a ball ache to get it set up 1x10. Obviously the rear needed respacing but the headset crown race is 27.0mm instead of 26.8 so had to bore it out on a lathe. Also cable stops are smaller than modern standards etc. But it has been worth the struggle. Old Reynolds steel frames rides so nice. -

Nice! Romantic evening for one :-) Are you planning to add any powdered additives?
-
• #115648
I wasn't. But, like what?
Boron nitride? -
• #115649
like what?
MoS2 is easiest to get, there might be a vanishingly small marginal gain from WS2 but it's hard to find in retail packs.

"Tungsten Disulfide (WS2) is dry/solid lubricant powder and is one of the most lubricious substance in world."
Sounds great. Will have to look into that.
My Principia 700 on almost full Ultegra just joined deliveroo clan for Berlin. Does CP counts as on time repairs and effect of years of changes (in the future)?
