Been a couple of articles recently about the non moves by Spurs means we are having a successful transfer window,
This one by Michael cox pretty much explains the reasoning
http://www.espn.co.uk/football/english-premier-league/23/blog/post/3160141/tottenham-are-having-the-best-summer-transfer-window-despite-making-no-new-signingsObviously I'd like us to strengthen, quality after the first 12/13 players drops precipitously, and we'll need a couple more quality players to help us compete in the champions league, but none of them are going to be superstars, we don't have the cash for that and I'm kind of happy with that, especially if the sheriff brings through some of the younger players, onomah showed he can be the creative fulcrum in midfield for the u20s, walker-peters looks good at right back, and hoping Carter-vickers makes the leap in defense.
We'll never be front runners in the transfer stakes, not until the stadium money comes on stream, but we should be able to snaffle some decent players that become surplus to requirements at other clubs. We've been noseying around kovacevic at real and pereira at benfica?? Who would both be decent purchase and wouldn't break the bank.
Hopefully we grow as a team again, a couple of judicious purchases improve the team (no last minute sissoko's) and we challenge for the title again..

PS Ospina deserves a ban for the reckless way he took Pedro out, not quite Schumacher but he put Pedro in the hospital with a concussion... It's a friendly FFS, I know you never normally get a look in but...
Also love the way Alonso showed Ox the door before that second Batman goal... There was talk of him coming to us, on that showing, no thanks...

Just been watching this, this is pretty much how I remember games at SB in the late 70s... Mental...

Also very excited about Morata, I think he's gonna be great for us... Story goes he was Conte's first choice whereas the club wanted Kakkers...

That's a beautiful story, conte yentzing himself silly about morata for two months. I thought the club didn't want to make any signings >>

Excited about morata and hoping Batshuayi can continue his goals yesterday were Good, moses got his chance last season from a good commited pre season lets hope Batshuayi can do the same,
He also looks to be a good presence in the Dressingroom. -

I think we could do with some cover at right back, maybe another midfielder but otherwise looking good...
Pedro sent home from Asia for further observation, seems OK but still a bitch... Ospina needs stringing up...

Havent seen the opsina pedro thing. Thought that Boga looked good.
Right back / wing back maybe Tomori will get the place ?? -

Unsurprisingly, given its Ospina, it was more inept than intentional, still looked pretty awful.

Some people were born to be Chelsea:

Never heard of him. But he sounds pretty well suited.
I'm losing track of who the big three have signed/are signing and how few the rest of us have signed -

Yep so pretty much no one

Tickets bought for the first match of the season. Away to Chelsea should be straightforward enough.

Not sure what's wrong with that Ospina challenge. Keeper in the area, punches ball clear.

Kenedy has really screwed up.
Now 21 years old, he signed for Chelsea in 2015. A left sided player, more LB than winger, he went on loan to Watford at the beginning of last season but only played once before beinng recalled in January. He has made 11 appearances, most from the bench.
Just before a "friendly" against Arsenal in Beijing, he posted two messages on Instagram. The first was a picture of himself with the words (in Portuguese) "Fuck China". The second also contained a derogatory reference to China.
The message was swiftly deleted and he apologised. The club have profusely apologised. He has been disciplined. He was booed by the entire crowd during the game.
Not only will he never be able to follow Oscar to countless wealth, but it now seems possible that China will ban everything to do with Chelsea. This will destroy the entire value of the trip and also put into jeapody sponsorship and broadcasting deals.
I suspect that Kenedy may be playing in the colours of another team before the season starts.

Favourite thing I've heard today:
Manchester City have spent more on defence this year, than 26 countries

Kenedy sent back to England from SE Asian tour.

Wait, didn't some Brazilians do the whole "slitty eye" thing about China?
Three great goals, new kit looks ace... It'll look even better with white socks... Batman making a decent claim for the second striker slot, I don't think he's 100% there yet but he's as good as Kakkers so happy he's scoring... Even tho' pre-season means fuck all...
