Thank fuck Greipel didn't win so we don't have to hear how he's won a stage in every GT he's raced anymore. It's like when Voight retired and with him the phrase 'shut up legs'

Gronners. Crossing the line already on the tops. Ha

Lol at Bouhanni doing a lunge for the line about 4 bike lengths back.

Matthews have a few too many verres to contest it?

Rider of the race: Kwiatkowski (first time I'm able to type that without looking up the spelling) for me, just amazing. De Gendt got into so many breaks but never managed to make anything count. Matthews wears green as a result of being last man standing, although two immense stage wins. Favourite moment was Eddy The Boss winning, Froome just did what Froome does. Team of race: Cannondale I reckon, for getting Uran second against the odds. Sunweb also impressive, two jerseys, and Sky did not put a foot wrong.

250+m on the front, what a sprint! we're going to see more of this guy, nice.

Barguil - attractive style and one of the worthiest polka dot winners of the past years!

Bauke's stage win was super exciting too. I'm a happy Dutchie

I could say Dylan Groenewegen all day long.

Team Sky gone wild.
They're gonna drink three bottles of Carlsberg and throw a toilet roll around inside the bus!

Third question in Froome's post-win interview being about "winning a fifth tour". People just expect him to win now.

Right then what was the funniest moment ?
-
• #3990
Heavy rainstorm in East London perfectly timed 3km from the finish and Sky TV crashes out. Kodi takes the win.

Each or between the team?

I'm really glad that Barguil had such a great tour. If felt like he was never going to live up to the potential after winning those two stages at the Vuelta in 2013. And the guy is still only 25. I don't really go in for the business of supporting a team, but it is hard not admire Sunweb this year.

I think three teams who have relatively low budgets; Sunweb, AG2R and Cannondale-Drapac, had outstanding Tours.
A lot is made of Sky's budget, but these three teams demonstrate that if you have a motivated team with good back up, you can punch well above your weight.

AG2R put together a pretty good set of mountain domestiques given their budget.
Had to look up which year Frank went top 10 at the tour which reminded, whatever happened to Leopold Konig?!

This is the great thing about the Tour: each team will send its very best riders, and each of those riders will be incredibly motivated, as well as in peak condition. And perhaps that is the reason it can be dull, as all that talent simply cancels each other out. Damn shame Porte crashed out, and Valverde, think both of them would have shaken shit up.

Konig has been suffering from a knee injury this year. He's due to start the Tour of Poland next week.

Fotheringham's less than gushing article in the Graun about Froome victory seems to have touched a few nerves... some of the pish that people are coming out with is fucking cringeworthy though:

I genuinely thought Bouhanni had abandoned at about stage 7.

The out-takes on Macej Bodnar's Bora DVD are great value.
Juraj Sagan tries to flip a millet pancake which ends up on Lukas Pรถstlberger's head like a beret.
And that's not correct. There aren't always ads.
Enough of this anyway. Landa is just about to solo breakaway!
