  • This survey is confusing and unnecessarily long. I never really understood the questions and so ducked out after the 12th video. It made me very uncomfortable on your scale.

  • This survey is confusing and unnecessarily long.

    Not unlike sustrans infrastructure then

  • I agree with both those comments luckily there is plenty of room in the survey to make the point

  • Mind numbing. I'm sorry but WTF!? I tried but when the 'variables' repeat themselves for the 900th time I just could not bare any more.

  • Sorry ZC.

  • I'm sorry but WTF!?

It's like they are trying force qual research through the quant funnel. I'm tempted to hit Pola up and offer her some qual support but I'm guessing their hands are tied.

  • Lost the will to live about a third of the way thru far too long and unecessarily confusing.

  • That is the most pointless bit of research. It will only prove that cyclists and pedestrians don't like to mix. Which is so bleeding obvious, despite what Sustrans have said ever since they came into existence. I only completed it to see what I could add, but there is nowhere I could add anything useful.

  • I didn't understand the first question and walked away.

  • Wholeheartedly agree. My experience with them in a previous job has led me to believe that Sustrans behave as though they have a religious obsession with removing pedestrian space in favour of shared use. they become incredulous when it's suggested that not everything will be rosy as a result. The 'walking' aspect of their 'walking and cycling' remit has only ever been tagged on to gain funding for walking 'improvements' that turn out to be cycle routes...
newsflash: if you turn a previous footpath into a shared use promoted cycle route, people who walked there happily in the past will get upset and feel threatened as the promuters start thundering past - especially the more vulnerable such as parents with children and older people.

  • Have to admit I posted this partly to see if others get as fed up with Sustrans as I do. Like most charities there main function in life seems to be about maintaining themselves at the expense of what they are supposed to represent and further.
@Oliver Schick what do you think?

  • Agree with those comments - but at least the organisation exists - these people should be much more accountable though.

  • Wouldn't fit into a nutshell, I'm afraid. :)
