I love the sound of the first Fireblade (from 1992, 93). With a bit of age these early ones develop a bit of "piston slap", like a two stroke rattle ... which coupled with the intake and exhaust noises, sounds great.

I love those bikes - there's a special place in my dream garage for the round eye Blades. A true design classic. Still a proper lairy bike and absolutely not eclipsed by honda since.

Well, I've sold my other bike. I only possess a 1992 Blade now. It's like a comfy pair of slippers to get on, and just sublime to ride.
