Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

My much beloved transfer jacket has finally become decorated with the signs of my profession. It was on its way out anyway but looking at the new design I fear it's gone the way of the rest of Rapha in it's sizing/cut so... if you wanted something like the transfer jacket but not Rapha, what would that be?

Nice but pricey. You'll feel right at home in it.

LT for mid weight, AR for heavier insulation. Comes with ow without hood, or as a gilet.

I got a Rab Xenon in similar circumstances. Very nice, plus it's got Rab on it which gives you instant Weedgie Hardman/BBC cameraman steez. Size down.

The only gripe I have against Rab Xenon is the fit .. baggy AF in XS.

Arcteryx look nice but pricey. not really wanting a hood neither. Going to order Transfer with voucher because it would be rude not to and have sized up to see how ridiculous the fit is-my old one is a medium and anticipating that the new large will be tight and XL too big.

Will also mean I get free shipping on my also discounted copy of the new Mondiale so worth the hassle of sending it back I guess. If that happens then Arceteryx in post summer sales for sure....

Arcteryx Atom LT and SL are in the sale at the moment with and without hood - you could also try the Proton which is more breathable.

I have both in the red which I think is a really nice colour. Fit means it wear well on and off the bike which was always my gripe with the transfer jackets

My wife gives double thumbs up to her new chartreuse classic rain jacket.
42k ride, absolutely pissing it down, she enjoyed the ride, and really loves the jacket.

tempting.. how's the fit? I'm large based on chest size but small/medium on waist/sleeves so it's the same choice between skintight or flappy and nobody local seems to stock them

I wear a large, means I could wear a jumper underneath if v v cold and walking around but mostly just wear a tshirt. Normally wear a Large in Rapha too if that helps.

Does anyone know if the Cadence jerseys match Rapha sizecharts?
