    There is a lot of talk of reduced pain and inflammation, improved energy etc (I don't eat a shit diet now, still eat a lot of veg but eat meat and dairy alongside) Have you noticed any change with how you feel?

  • I can second what @mrs_socks says. I've been vegan 12 months now, and my previous chronic back pain that was on/off for 20+ years is gone. Other aches too. I had inner ear problems and tinnitus for years that's all gone.

    Recovery is also faster after epic rides, and recovery is much faster at the tops of hills (probably because I am also 8Kg lighter).

    Second this. It's done wonders for my riding. Been riding loads less because of other commitments, but climbing has got a lot easier - losing 4kg helps...

    One thing that I do find difficult is trying to get enough calories in after a massive ride, when previously I could have just eaten a pizza or something. Just eat tonnes of nuts and seeds at the moment.
