I've been struggling a bit to think of what I don't actually want to be without for most of the ride - unless forecast is very very good it seems worth having waterproof, insulated jacket and overshoes with me for whole ride, which are probably heaviest clothing items.
I reckon worth packing them out with a lot of pairs of clean dry socks - can never have too many + changes of base layer and whatever. But I feel like there'll still be a fair bit of room.
I suppose I might put a spare tyre in, but tubeless so am just carrying two emergency inner tubes and in the unlikely event of needing more than those I'll just buy some.
Does sudacrem count as a liquid?
I'm sure I'll start off thinking I've got loads of room and then find they're totally packed out.
I put my drop bags in slightly stupid places (Pocklington and Barnard castle) so not really going to depend on them anyway.
Drop bags, what are people using them for?
I can probably carry everything I need, and whilst for clean kit they are a good option, having two means either putting the same stuff in both bags or living without something at the point you might want it!
