Anyone got a spare mech hanger for a caad7? I assume most if not all the other US made caads take the same one

Nice.. new wheels?

It is yeah. I probably over paid for it, there's a few small dings here and there and scratches but its probably my favourite cannondale and I've wanted one for a long time.
Massive thanks to @danslecarton. It literally wouldn't have been possible otherwise. -

The mech hanger only has one out of the two screws with it and it just spins in its hole. Do I need a new hanger? The bolt doesn't look rounded. Is it the back of the hanger that it screws into?

For that paint, and with that fork, the price was probably pretty good.
I've got Jambon's old CAAD 5 track with a stealth EC90 fork. I love it in the raw finish but am always tempted by a respray. This red is the one I'd go for, with the old school cannondale decals.
One day. -

My ultimate dream is a CAAD12 disc repainted exactly to match. This is however, highly unlikely, sadly.

My dream frame, very envious. Any ideas on how you plan to build it up yet?
-
• #8466
Its good to know I should have no problem selling it if I ever need to haha.
@EstelleGetty not yet. I'd like to build it race weight. I've never had a lightweight bike and the frame is something like 1300g with the bb30 bearings. Sram for sure. Don't like Campag ergonomics and shimano I find a bit bland.

I have said frame and fork which will be spare shortly (comes with free seatpost), you could have it painted to match. 56cm.

• #8468
Not your Klein-esque one?!
-
• #8469
Everyone's seen these a million times before but are always worth a re-post in my eyes
-
• #8470
Man, I wasn't really into Cannondales but that paint is lush. Makes me want to have one now
-
• #8471
Its better in person too. Its a candy red clear coat over bare aluminium. For max weight saving IIRC
-
• #8472
I could sell you a tasty SL Hollowgram chainset with period power meter to go with that.
just sayin
-
• #8473
Ouf. I prefer the black fork though

Someone has one of these in metallic blue locked up near Hoxton square

I'm not fussed on period, I'll go full modern. And I'm not likely to need to know the measly power output of my pins when I'm riding it to the cafe
What the actual f*ck? I'm going to cycle home today on my CAAD9 and be majorly disappointed.
