Failed to anticipate, surely.
Glad no injury beyond the shock.

Today, 3 buses RJL unfortunately couldn't get the bus numbers due to light reflections, 1 bus RJL and nearly driving into a colleague of mine on the Westlink, a guy in a seat doing wheelspins in a 30 zone on green...and speeding too: As a bonusball a driver going up a buses only street, that is now ONE WAY, against traffic...
Honestly don't know what's going on lately. I escaped a huge soaking so that wasn't too bad :)

Considering filling my water bottle with piss before each commute so I can squirt RLJers

Better to pull alongside and in a friendly manner explain why it might be better for all road users that they wait on red and take a breather and make new friends in the bike box.
Then offer to share your drink...

RLJ, not RJL, innit?
Writes post about file breaking and breaks the rules of acronyms. Tut tut.

Or maybe you could not consider reacting to what is actually quite a minor and victimless infraction (not matter how much it annoys you) with actual assault
-
• #17733
How would you like it if someone threw piss over you the next time you cross a road without waiting for the green man?
Don't be a dick is a good rule for life...

Rules are meant to broken.

Where is the naughty corner thread... :)
If a bus would have come while that driver went down the lane...it would have been either a bad accident, or the ensuing argument would have made a great youtube video. Suicidal idiots...

Arrgh! Yes. Posted a couple of minutes after the slam. Thankful I didn't try to use imply/infer or then/than at the time. Shock AND embarrassment. Thank you : )

Rather windy today. Had to do some proper pedalling down hill. Hope it's a tail wind this eve.

Writes pedantic post about pedantry but still misses the hyphen between tut and tut. Tut-tut.

Got to work. Realized I'd forgot some important stuff at home. Well, at least it's a nice day for it :)

I can't wait until next week when all the Watchfinder Generals put their barely-used 2015 Specialized S-Works Tarmacs back in their sheds until next year's TdF inspires them again.
Enough now. -

cross a road without waiting for the green man?
That isn't illegal though.
-
• #17744
Tell that to the millions of drivers in this country who think it is.

Further to all this chat about whether to chuck piss over RLJers. Does anyone else have a near religious notion that on road cheeriness and good humour sends out a degree of karmic positivity which may ultimately bounce around making the daily commute s tiny bit less shitty?... or is it just me?

• #17746
Its just you

I knew it!
*loads bottle of piss.

The other explanation was that you were suicidal, so I thought I'd ask.

Good thread today, bravo.
I had a lovely Friday commute along the Wandle Trail as the sun came up. 10/10
Although shame about the litter left at popular spots. "Oh let's enjoy the nice river spot and leave all our shit behind"

Few circuits of Regents Park then coffee where I met for a second time the v lovely retired gent who was waiting for his gp appt at the surgery opposite. I know all about his heart meds and side effects, his time with Grosvenor Estates, his move from a Mayfair council flat to a warden controlled block in Victoria. All because I sat down and said Hi.
That's awesome. Had an oldboy today say "don't worry, I won't nick it" as I unlocked to get home... he was more like grandpa Simpson rambling on though.
However, on the ride in, I gave way to an oncoming bus that needed to cross my lane to turn right into the station. He hesitated, looked bewildered that I gave way, and then acknowledged me. Cars behind weren't too upset either.
