I feel like I get sick less since I've been vegan. I was vegetarian for 18 years before, the transition was easier than I thought it was going to be. I think the main reason I feel better is that I eat a lot less processed foods and sugar now! I always cooked from scratch at home anyway, but now I eat a lot more homemade snacks/lunches etc, and not the easy access pastries/cakes/sandwiches I used to. (Working in a cafe, taking away the urge to eat leftover pastries at the end of a long day has made the biggest difference I think! heh)

Only been vegan since Easter but definitely feel better overall in an albeit pretty undefined way.
My skin is def a whole lot better(psoriasis) and I don't ache so much after work/rides/climbing.
Learning to drink black tea/coffee if a customer offers a brew has been hard as has trying not to feel ill while my colleagues eat pale, undercooked bacon from the caff in the mornings. -
I can second what @mrs_socks says. I've been vegan 12 months now, and my previous chronic back pain that was on/off for 20+ years is gone. Other aches too. I had inner ear problems and tinnitus for years that's all gone.
Recovery is also faster after epic rides, and recovery is much faster at the tops of hills (probably because I am also 8Kg lighter).
Falafel to both.
Srsly. There's loads of options - have a gander on YouTube search vegan pack lunch or sonthing. Maybe check vegan restaurants and scale it down / adapt for your budget. There's a great dish that Cook Daily do called High Grade - I just take out the oil and ad more mushrooms / veg oyster sauce.
Good luck with the transition - it's the best thing I've ever done.
