Sounds worrying. I take it you mean Nightingale Lane rather than Nightingale Road?

Did you mean Eastbound rather than Westbound? Westbound still has the bus lane at the lights from what I remember so is a bit wider which would make it even worse happening that way.

The bus lane is eastbound, not westbound. The westbound lane narrows from about 4m at the bus stop to about 3.25m-3.5m (it's hard to tell exactly from StreetView) at the staggered crossing. This subtle narrowing may easily catch someone out.

Fingers crossed the rider isn't badly hurt.

For context (from street view):
The cab came to a stop just after the traffic lights and the trailer was long enough to be next to the bus stop.
