Cerys and MAH both have this whispery overly reverant, precious/pretentious thing that just makes me want to kill. I love loads of the music Cerys plays but fuck me, I can't bear to hear her guff on about it. And the poetry and the cooking and general forced attempt at fostering an atmosphere of down-home cosy fluffiness. Oh GOD FUCK OFF!

One of the most awkward interviews I ever heard was Cerys on the Danny Baker show. He totally pricked her pretentiousness and she did not take kindly to it. It was hilariously uncomfortable.

I saw this this morning and nodded in agreement even though I've never heard her on the wireless.
I started my car this morning to take the dogs for their walk and the radio came on and there was the fucking rolling "Rs" Road Rage loud and clear. I hate that woman's voice.

Radcliffe & Maconie are great. Gideon Coe is the boss. I've grown to really appreciate Ravenscroft too. Have a weird relationship with Lard in that he plays great stuff and his heart seems in the right place but he's such a stilted and uncomfortable presence in interviews, claims to be uber-eclectic but lets his snobbery show all the time and worst of all, WON'T PLAY MY RECORDS. Obviously a bastard.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. People who use speaker phone in public places to make their calls. Particularly my neighbor does whilst standing out on the balcony opposite my bedroom window at 02:30 and does it.
