Wanted: Either a very good, or a pretty bad condition 52ish 531 or similar F&F

I didn't manage to find a full build as needed, so am going to put it together.

Need a 52ish steel frame for a friend. Needs to be in good condition and a pretty dark colour ideally. Alternatively, I am happy to buy a beater for cheap and get it stripped/powdercoated.

Ideally have 125+ rear spacing/ok for 700c as have a Tiagra 10sp group to put on.

653 frame.....excellent condition!

I have a beater one for sale which would a full strip & repaint.

Columbus Aelle tubing. Gipiemme rear droupouts. The TT is 53cm centre to centre, the ST is 52cm centre to centre

I have removed the gearset, wheels & cockpit but it will include:

• Square taper Shimano bottom bracket (french threaded 35mm x 1mm threads)
  
• Stronglight alloy headset (unsure of threading but serviceable)
  
• Campagnolo aero seatpost 26.2mm which will polish very nicely - it looks like a Nuovo Record
  
• Chrome forks which are pitted so you could get them powdercoated or purchase the BLB ones I am selling

The blueish paint marks you see are anti-rust paint liberally applied by the original owner.

Anyway, it needs love

Daccordi, Columbus EL or SL, chrome is great, lots of engraving, need repaint £150

Got a Dave Yates - 531c in dark green which is 52/53, great condition but too small for me. Would need posting, as I'm in Bedfordshire. If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll get some photos.

Found one mid-build. (Don't mention the cable stops, I know, I know!)
