Guess this stage gets interesting if Froome is isolated early somehow or AG2R pull another surprise. Surely only gaining a few seconds on Froome isn't enough at this point, it has to be all or nothing?
Based on the performances in the Dauphine TT, Froome will probably put around 1:30 into Bardet tomorrow. He's going to need 2mins on him today.
Looks like Froome's form has been targeted to peak for this stage and the TT.
I think any gain would put some pressure on Sky and Froome does seem prone to mechanical issues. Not impossible to see him dropping a chain with his extreme Q rings on the TT.
