Dolan Pre Cursa 'Road' Bike

Due to having to part with my Scott Foil because of skint student syndrome (Scott will be up for sale asap) I have need to fill my road cycling desires with another bike.

Step up my humble commuter come fixie skidder pre cursa! At the moment it's only used for bits and bobs around town and cycling into uni everyday.

This is how it looks at the moment but it's going to need a few chops and changes to make it fit for road cycling duties!

Main things I plan on changing are:

• Front Brakes
  
• Space for liquid storage
  
  

I have an older sora caliper and a set of condor drop brake levers to use as well as a jubilee clip set up for a single bottle cage.

Other bits and bobs:
-Machined rim front wheel
-Upgrade brake to something with brake pad shoes
-China carbon seat post
-Longer stem
-New tyres, I fancy trying some of the cheap lifeline ones for science!

I have some spd-sl pedals to install but I'd ideally like some mountain bike clipless pedals further down the line!

How've you been getting on with the pre cursa?

The alloy crown on those Alpina forks are really hench. Mine drilled really nicely and there was plenty of meat on the back for a recessed fitting.
