For a significant section of the biking public, the novelty condom look is synonymous with "proper cyclist". For a lot of others (not just drivers), it now signals "cunt" and/or "dangerously incompetent".

I think clothing must play a part. Twice this morning I was complimented on my cycling shoes. Makes a change from 'Get off the middle of the road you c*nt'
