Poor dan martin.
Honestly fuck his DS. -

I was never a fan of him, but he was always a bit 'edgy', wasn't he? Mellowed with the horrific accident, but he's lost a year of what was turning (and hope will return to being) into a stellar career so I imagine he's pretty frustrated.

I've already seen enough of Brailsford to last a lifetime.

It was totally fine.

There's nothing wrong with that. Was Deg there? No. Did he shut the door after he'd got next to him? No. Did Deg have any chance? No.

• #3234
It's totally legit sprinting. Deg was too slow and then a little bitch about being too slow. Fuck him.

Dan said his team were all sick. Where were they?

How the fuck can you rank Rabobank above ONCE?

Max is an old friend, we met at fireflies 2010 tour and then a lot of Rollapaluza rides .. he is also a great writer. His latest book Higher Calling as mentioned by andyp will no doubt be another great read.
Max rode fireflies 2010 on a very sweet custom built 531c road bike, a natural climber with a slight build. we had some epic days in the alps back in 2010, I'm sure Max has been back many times, and his book will conjure up some great memories.
Max's blog from 2009 on this forum..

I think that surpasses the (in)famous Michael Rasmussen shot.

Why do I get this extremely slight feeling that an Australian won a stage? I can't quite put my finger on it.

His interview on the latest Cycling Podcast is quite illuminating, in so much as he gives precisely zero fucks about his doping past, or even getting caught. He "prepared" correctly, in his eyes, health risks be damned.

I would be LIVID if I was Dan Martin. Surely they could have sent a big engine like Vermote to keep him out of bother and still kept Kittel in the race.
Chances of a podium have been stitched up by a sleeveless who can't descend and now by Lefevre.
Which is excellent and well worth a read.
I've got Max's latest book, Higher Calling, on my summer holiday reading pile.
