And: https://www.lfgss.com/comments/13698139/Just trying to finalise things this week re: county court claim. On that - anyone know a cheap but good quality solicitor?
-
• #29663
Fuckin'ell. Glad you're okay, and after his response, hope you weren't wearing one of your nice watches?
I totally get that feeling; on a totally different level but failing my driving test twice due to other people fucking up, just wonder whats the point. Hope you're more keen again now.
Re: solicitors, I've made a claim as a cyclist with simonaholt.co.uk who were helpful and supportive. I think they specialise in bike related incidents so they might be worthwhile since a bike was at fault in your accident?

Was wearing my Rolex Explorer I - thankfully undamaged.
Hope you're more keen again now.
I'm enjoying cycling in for the moment but there's no doubt i'm already missing the motorbike. I had Saturday just gone all to myself and couldn't help but daydream about a pootle down to brighton and along the coast.

Ta for that, i'll get in touch. Any idea what sort of fees i'm likely to run in to?
-
• #29665
No idea re: fee's I'm afraid off the top of my head - it was a no win no fee deal, but I'll have a dig through my emails to see if I can find the paperwork.
I think perhaps you should give the explorer to me, for safe keeping ... :p
Seriously glad thats okay! -

Enough. And then no guarantees you'll get the money. Do you have insurance if everything goes to shit?
-
• #29667
Holy crap!!!
Sorry to hear this my friend!
Glad you're OK though!!
-
• #29668

How is Bloodborne going
Yeah, good. Restarted as I wanted to do Eileen's quest which went a bit awry on my first go. The story is great but takes quite a bit to piece it together. Lan-Lan is like 'what's happening' and I'm like 'I think aliens did it'.
-
• #29673
Did you get to Rom yet? Lots changes at that point
-
• #29674
Yeah I bashed him with the electric mace thing in to submission.
Then OMG FUCKING ALIENS EVERYWHERE.
On my new character I got a double KO with Rom, so he's dead but the world hasn't gone to shit.
It's funny - you have to kill him, but I kinda think that maybe you shouldn't...

Yeah it's pretty heavily implied in the second half that it was a bad thing to do.
Also worth pointing out that you need to get to that point to play the DLC (which is good if you can get past the first boss, who is by far the most punishing in the game), and if you do the final boss you get immediately shunted into NG+, so if you want the DLC do it beforehand
It may have to be a flying visit @itsbruce as I need to sort out the house before Pete arrives.
