I'd be concerned that the full width of the tyre is going to hit that wishbone if the chainstays flex.
also a valid point. i assume those stays are steel
Hopefully that shouldn't be an issue, as belt drive bikes have to be made stiff at the stays anyway. Also, I've got a slightly smaller 2.35 RR on the way... So I should be back to a bit more clearance again by the weekend.
