Well, it's a bell. It's a nice size, sturdy as fuck and it's going to be more than one of those little black ping things.... it's not as heavy as some of the bing-bong ones I have though!
Seriously, it's not something that entered my mind.... the sound it makes compensates for anything. When you ding this, people hear it and as it has such a lovely tone, they actually turn round and smile! -
