It's a bit tight, if you plan on muddy riding.
I think the old 2.4" Ralphs were known to be a big tyre. I've had both Conti X-King 2.4 and Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.35 on 30mm internal rims and the casing on both measured the same, at 61mm.
manageable in summer... I would probably wrap the frame near the tyre in clear frame tape and live with it!
