exactly that. Not worth trying to 'modify' the current one as it would be about as much work as building a whole new one.
Fork needs to be slightly longer too though thanks to the taller 29+ size. :( ££££££

Just looked at that bike again. Totally forgot you have a Chris King SS hub up front. That would make it wide enough to clear 27.5+, I suppose..?

Not tempted by that? Lots more tyre choice than 29+.

It's running the King ss anyway, but set up dinglespeed.
I tried a 27.5 x 2.8 wheel in the back and it had enough clearance...but I think I'm happier running 29 as I've been on this size for about 15 years now. Kinda set in my ways. :)
