I need to send a bike frame to Ireland, Parcelforce has quoted me £77 with only £100 insuranced value, for £1000 insurance it's £105.
Are there any delivery companies that would be more reasonable? -

When you're dehydrated, to the point of chapped lips and headaches for example, and then drink a litre or so of water, you instantly feel better. My question is; is the body at that point rehydrated trough a sort of osmosis process, it just seeps trough your tissue from your stomach and outwards, or is it carried from your stomach by way of the blood stream?

Try paisley freight. I've used them on three occasions but Scotland and Ingerland only. Which Ireland?

I had no issues booking through Paisley Freight. Think it cost £25 all-in.

What substance is best at stopping creaking between two hard-plastic surfaces?
This if for a mechanism on a baby buggy. I've been using lithium grease - both the aerosol spray and trying to spread lithium grease from a pot into the gap, but it only seems to last a short while before dissipating.
The image illustrates the small gap between the surfaces, which the top half of the buggy swivels on. It creaks in general use, as the two surfaces rub against one another.

Graphite dust?
inb4 Tester says "solid lubricant such as MoS2"

Sounds exotic. Was looking at something like this, but it's not clear whether it would be any more effective/long lasting then the lithium stuff.

More than you know, I was going to say graphite too

Furniture polish / Pledge.

Pretty sure I saw a small container of graphite dust in my local hardware store in Crystal Palace so might be less exotic than you think.

Rub a graphite pencil on the plastic?
-
• #84847
Yeah, I'll try that first...

it's telling me £45 for ROI (without insurance)

Window cleaning, how often?
(1st/2nd floor flat, no easy access to all of the windows so easier to get someone round with proper extending brushes.)

Has anyone had any experience with the garmic 230/235. Is it worth paying extra for ont he wrist HRM (especially as the reviews I've read have not been too positive)?
Edit: funny smells
I think its pretty early on a weekend. I know @ioreka did this a while ago, and I think we turned up about 11am and were struggling to find one
