  • I have a 53cm version of that bmc. Done thousands and thousands of miles on it with zero problems. If yours has the tp version of the fork (tapered, full carbon) then they are a very good bike. A bit numb feeling initially but with good wheels and tyres it gets better and the harder you push it the more lively it gets. Anyone looking for a good crit racer... That'd be a good option.

  • Is that a sale pitch to help sell my bike? ;-)

When I say I don't get on with it, there isn't any particular reason just it doesn't feel right for me... it's like not the right coffee bean not right feeling... still good coffee, I mean good bike... I loan it to a friend for a few weeks for her club ride and she loved it...

  • Just helping out, like a phantom bidder.

I get what you mean about the feel. I still enjoy riding my old caad more, even with the fear of it crumbling underneath me... Yet it's my favorite bike.

The joy in the bmc is that it feels rock solid and dependable. And still looks relatively modern.
