Word has it the Hobgoblin was far murkier and spicer than it should have been, too.
Many many thanks for the whisky from @Ruserius - had that not soothed my spirits I would have been a lot more distraught when my Garmin tried to get me on the North Circular back to Lea Bridge Road :(

somebody in the Gents had been on something as whilst washing my hands a head fell onto me as a fully-grown man fainted onto his back from being at the urinal - something out of a Lock Stock movie - only in Chingford!! :-)
