  • @Sig_Arlecchino Speaking of GT's

Just cleaned mine, and drilled new holes in the cetma to make it a little more flat.

    I say go for it!

  • Talbot all dressed up. Clearance is very tight with 28s.
    Wheels thanks to @broken_777

  • Clearance is very tight

Is that a good thing or a bad thing these day? I'm never quite sure.

  • I don't know. Was more a comment on how ridiculous/perfect it is:

  • It is neither good or bad. It is simply #tukt

  • How can someone ever clear some CX tyres with eTap!?

  • I've done that previously too...

Though the eTap has migrated to the Talbot now.

  • this bike is so bloody amazing

  • Exactly what I meant, so rad!

  • Tidy. Would you take a commission?

  • gonna finish this week and at weekend will test how it works, then will know

  • That is rad!

  • how does that work? Aren't you in trouble with the adjustment to your rings?

  • That's seriously cool

  • cheeeeers! such a fun daily

  • Rad, I'll be drawing inspiration from this for sure!

  • I remember, glad it was special for you to, won't miss that commute!

  • Cleaned most of the dirt and bird sh*t off it, and removed all the knackered parts. Nice surprise to find everything came off without putting up too much of a fight (except for the fixed cup on the bb, that took some persuading)

Dont have a set of 26inch wheels spare, so put some 700c on, clearances seem ok and looks like the frame can take rim brakes? Might have to flip it round on the rear as the canti mounts will probably get in the way

Think for now I'll put a beater track rear wheel in there (got horizontal drops) and ride it fixed

Would love to get my hands on some bullmoose bars, love the ones a couple of pages back with the double clamp

Have some Surly forks that I popped in as well, don't think they look as good...

  • Can't hear any sloshing about.. frame and fork with headset is about 4.3kg

  • 4.3kg

    this must be bullet proof

  • preparing it for some climbs in austria next week.. how do i know a tub is glued properly? (presumably previous owner did it)

  • A mechanic will probably scold me for this advice, but... pump the tire up to riding pressure, and try to roll it off with all of the force you can with your thumbs. if it comes off, re-glue it. If not, good to go!
Disclaimer; I'm by no means a bike mechanic. I've just glued a few tubulars in my time and this is what I go by.
    Edit: in reply to @hma

  • Didn't had a race seatpost in the right size, fixed it temporary. Looking to see if I can match the brands for the seatpost and stem.
