I've sifted the soup with a ladle, no meat, but can't be sure of the stock, so am leaving it alone. Fruit usually isn't bad - melon, watermelon and various tinned stuff.
I'm in a pretty basic hotel out towards the Iranian border now, breakfast was just a couple of bread rolls with a mini pot of jam and cream cheese (which I didn't eat, obviously).
