I think the HC climb followed by a cat 1 right at the end is going to screw the changes of a breakaway although I reckon Cummings is going to try. Betfair reckons Froome has the best chance of winning today's stage.

Bookmakers' odds reflect the money placed as well as perceived probability. Any British athlete or team will always have more Brits backing them and therefore will be at lower odds with British bookmakers than actual probability might suggest. That said, a winning bet at poor odds is better than a losing one at long odds.
Bookmakers like it when favourites lose. Bookmakers make more money than punters. If you enjoy gambling, my advice is that you become a bookmaker.

Good odds considering his pedigree.
Hopeful Dan Martin can get a win today.

What's the proposed finish time today? Gotta ride out on another errand for an hour probably, before I can sit and enjoy.

Seeing them descending one by one around that bend was really nice to watch.
They should make me aesthetic director of the grand tours. First job would be to sort out the eyesore that is the team car clusterfuck.

My wife just said 'if I'd already bought a watch from them, I'd send it back'.

Michael Matthews went over first, de Gent second.
I don't mean there won't be any GC action, for sure there will be. But I reckon it won't be one of the top ten guys crossing the line first. Mollema is up to something for sure, and there are more good climbers like him that are way back in the GC and might go on the Peyresourde without stopping for crepes on the top ;)
