Pinarello / Fakearello - £140 incl extras - small quality steel road frame & forks.

Alas this is too small for me or @goellis and it's taking up space which could be used for other bikes, more records, or you know even a hallway where you can open the door without clanking bikes.

Bought off here in 2010, it's a small 49/50 cm road frame. Badged as a pinarello, I don't think it's that but from the weight & steel ping it's made of something 531ish.

Chromed forks & seat stays with some minor pitting you'd expect from a frame of this age. Internal cable routing, and with original braze ons (no puppy killing has taken place). Lovely metallic paint job with the usual occasional small chips & cable rubs, but still good overall.

Headset & bottom bracket move smoothly. Currently has 80s campag cranks & chainring + chain set up for single speed included in price.

Can throw in the matching rear double fixed rear wheel for an extra 25 (rim tape & tired 16 tooth sprocket on a generic campag sheriff copy type hub - threads are good but you'll want to replace the sprocket before Christmas comes, or Ed Milliband finds a new job, whichever happens first.). Plus machine walled black box section rim (32 hole, lots of life left).

Have the rest of the bike in our Cupboard of Doom - variety of stems, pedals, brakes & bars mostly of the quality beater variety. Can build it up complete to go for a few more quid simply to clear the cupboard. From brooks taped wide bars + njs stem for £€$ to basic road / flat bars for pennies.

It's a lovely little bike, small with right clearances - you won't squeeze a tyre >25 on to it, but only a tiny bit of toe overlap. Light & responsive and ready for fixed, single or returned back to its original geared glory. All for £140 Ono.

Perfect if you're 5 foot to 5'6.

As an added extra it has also worked the Tweed Run for Brooks by the first ever Tweed Run winner of the Dashing Dame award. Fame! Class! Infamy! All the things!
