Space-X rocket launch, they go up then sideways to escape the circular atmosphere. If the earth was flat they would just go straight up.
Surely if the earth was flat they could just drive them off the edge.
And because the earth accelerates with 9.81 m/s² upwards, you don't need any fuel to get them into space. Just tip them over the edge.
