  • I use that for ultra racing.
    I'd use a closer block for flat time trials but everything else is manageable.

  • Cheers y'all. Make's me think I'll fork out for the 11-32 group. May well be used for light touring to so it makes sense.

    @dst I'm less concerned about cadence max out than having a usable range in the big ring, as it's annoying having to shift down front when pootling along (like I said, I'm slow).

  • Why not buy cheaper groupset + 11-32 cassette?

    I'd be happy with a 32 on the back, for the not-so-occasional 15-20% inclines. I've got the same ratios on my winter/tourer and whilst I'm grateful for the smaller gears when it's loaded, I can also stay in the big ring most of the time for faster unloaded rides.
