Still on the bus back. Cyclingnews ticker leads me to believe there's no rush to get Eurosport on at home.

I like to support those who support cycling and I have to say I have beautifully laminated floors, no problem with steam in my kitchen and receive no complaints about snoring. The downside is that the satellite dish on my roof is a little unsightly and I have yet to visit Khazakstan. I would wash my hair occasionally but have never yet encountered Alpecin in a shop. Has anyone else actually tried it?

There isn't - Carlton's currently at the helm with world class waffle...

That Alpecin advert on the bus. My word, hilariously shit.

I used to think that caffeine shampoo was a substitute for a morning coffee, à la that tingly original source mint and tea tree shower gel

I was riding in Italy with the UK distributor. Dogma with Enve laced to CK & Super Record EPS. Must shift (though he doesn't).

The number of chateaus is incredible. Just shows how afluent and sizeable the French aristocracy were before their downfall.

Wonder how many would end up as Wetherspoons

When there is a breakaway of 2 like there is today and they pass the intermediate sprint marker, do you reckon they have a gentlemen's agreement to split the money so they don't start attacking one another and losing time on the peleton? Is that even allowed?
-
• #1990
That's what Carlton was calculating, to take sprint vs kom. Fortuneo goes for one, Wanty the other, should be equal money in the end.
-
• #1991
I'm sure I've heard before that this money often goes to the teams rather than the riders though - so I think they can agree to take one each but they don't necessarily get the same share of it in the end!

When they came up with this Speedo advert, they were probably really proud that they had the voiceover done by an amateur. "It's so real and authentic".
Unfortunately for everyone watching it, the voiceover sounds like it's done by an amateur.

Very true, but I'm pretty sure they get first dibs on chocolate from the pot of Celebrations.
Fair play to Speedo though. It's a far cry from banana hammocks.

They just discussed this as well.
All goes into a big pot and then gets shared out at the end of the year! It's like tips when I used to work in a pub kitchen. Hopefully they don't need these bonuses to prop up a shitty basic wage, and hopefully the ones who've been out slogging in the breaks to earn them get recognition for it.

The usual policy is that all prize money won at the Tour goes into a pot, then is shared equally between the riders and the support staff.
One of those unwritten rules, that we all love so much, is that the winners of jersey competitions, I.e. Yellow, green, polka dot, leave their share in the pot, as they'll get bonuses plus criterium contracts, better contracts, etc.

Brad also paid out his personal Team Sky contract £1m win bonus to the team. Except Chris. Until Dave told him he had to.

Buy yourself a drink (but don't buy one for Chris).
Love,
Not bitter." -

Dan Martin is right
He is always right as far as I'm concerned, especially as he liked two of my tweets yesterday.

Why can't they buy bitter? Surely if it's to reward them for all their hard work they should be able to drink what they like? Also Wiggins is northern so this can't be right?
New(?) Alpecin advert on the Katusha bus...wtf
