What is the point of an aero bar when the stack is high AF?

They aren't pitching it as aero, more for comfort.
Shrug.

The flattened tops make me feel otherwise. Made to appeal to your local weekend warrior.

Does look nice / inoffensive in black.

All black with gumwalls is so played out.
Can't wait to see the 2018 CAAD12 line up, anyone know anything?

There's a pearl white caad, looks sweet. More here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=146246

Yes, found that post immediately after my last post! Very wack other than a couple.
Might have to go for the current purple dura-ace one if I can get a discount...

i do however quite like this

It will take a 32mm tyre, apparently, and has hidden fender mounts.

that colour way has been around a while now, by far their best 'modern' paintjob

Bit too early, unless you meant paint job wise.

Really not rating those synapse discs... the line between a cx bike and road bike is basically blurring here for me sobs I can put money down betting it'll take huge tyres..

I'll stick to my caad7

32mm. Given the CAAD12 will squeeze in a 28 or even a 30 I think it's kinda fair.
As a do-it-all rig it looks pretty good. One bike to train / race / adventure / get small rads on if you really push its limits. No 650 with large(er) rubber tho.

Anyone need one of these? Bought new, used for a few years, sat around for a bit, just rebuilt it, but I don't need it.
Drop me a PM if so.

Braze on on my caad10 isn't looking too pretty. could that be a manufacturers defect? It's the 105 mech that came with the bike

What do you think is wrong with it?
-
• #8295
It's crushed under the bolt. That washer doesn't stay put when you tighten the bolt it just turns and deforms the braze on even more. Worth worrying about?

You are too strong.

Ive not touched it before so I've no idea how it happened. FD moved when I was trying to shift and when I checked to see what was up I found that. Never noticed it before. Spoke to cannondale to check warranty but if its not covered can it be replaced? Doesn't look like an easy job though

Any cheap 56cm Caad frames lying about? I'm bored and want a project
-
• #8299
Where did you get the bike? That shouldn't happen with a factory build that's been checked from the shop - the shop has a duty to put it right.
Wouldn't bother talking to CSG directly about it, their default answer is no.

bikeshop.de in a sale in 2015, saved a lot of money at the time. Contacted them to see if they can help but I think I'm on my own with this...
Bars are actually two piece
