The ibuprofen thing is definately real...my wife was nearly taken out by a burst ulcer, by using it on an empty stomach. Normally, things like this are a bit 'old wives tale', but not this.
It's easily remedied though, by simply having at least a glass of milk before popping the vitamin I .
