yeah both banned italian roads have good bike paths. It's a good thing to ban them both really, as alpine roads can be nasty.
use the osm cycle map layer if need be.

So that banned road has a bike path next to it? I'll have another look. I can probably just keep the route then and just use the bike path if that's the case.

I've had a look and I'm not actually on the SS47, there's a smaller road running next to it. I cross it a couple of times. SP228 runs parallel.

I haven't looked at any others yet. Just that because someone said to use SS12 which has a bike path or something.
