You're right, stability is the last thing you want when a twofour is sitting on your front rack.

650x42 Compass Babyshoe Pass, tubeless even though they aren't rated for it. So far I'm not dead.

I have nothing other to say than this bike was built for a person who gives absolutely zero fucks what anyone else thinks about her bike, and that she absolutely loves it.... and that's all that matters.

Yep, sorry if I poisoned the waters.
Rock over London, rock on, Chicago. -

#Tuktitude also results in a more responsive rear end which is good for climbing and wheelies. For carrying shit less #tuktitude is better because it's more stable
Yes I read prolly

Perfecto Rob!

I apologize in advance for the saddlebag that is mounted way to high to be stable

Want to see the rider's face after that!

How did it get in that state? Looks oddly uniformly covered.

Or their lungs!

Would rock that daily with 'deal with it' shades. Superrad!
Is it more of a matt finish? -

Haha it's actually from being on the back of a truck, going home after a 750mile trail: https://instagram.com/p/BWHiyktl7UH/

Can't hotlink, dunno how to.
Damn man, this bike is detail galore and easily one of my favourites. That BB cluster is a proper nice touch.
Would ride all summer long. -

Bike looks wonderful and you truly are a genius when it comes to painting frames. Well done dude!

Looks rugged, with the possible exception of the treaded tyre/mudguard combination.
Do you have an adventure planned?I love the retro Karrimors - I've got a saddlebag from before they started using that logo but sadly it's red and green rather than plum.

On train to Wick, Scotland right now to start our quest. We have sustrans maps and a compass so should survive I reckon. Tyres are gravelking sk so hardly treaded really.
It took me a while to find nos front and rear panniers. I'm also wearing a matching era karrimor bike jacket right now and also the proud owner of a worryingly large number of backpacks of the same age too. :/ -

What's that thing on top of the headset cap?
Looks like a Garmin mount to me.

Garmin holder I guess.
It's a bike for getting around town and getting some beers..
